Certified LightningCoach Practitioner

Get certified to run the assessment with your own clients — reading leadership signal in a conversation, running a debrief, and delivering hard feedback so it actually lands.

This is a proprietary credential in our methodology. It is not an ICF accreditation, and we will never imply that it is.

Already ICF credentialed?

Skip the assessment entirely.

If you hold an ACC, PCC or MCC, you have already been assessed on coaching competence by people whose job that is. We are not going to make you prove it again.

  • No readiness assessment
  • Straight into methodology training
  • Verified against the ICF credential registry
  • Practitioner listing and client workspace on approval
Not certified yet?

Start with the readiness assessment.

Twenty situations across three formats, about thirty minutes. Unlike the leadership assessment, this one has better and worse answers — because we are certifying you, not describing you.

  • Free readiness assessment with a full breakdown
  • Honest result, and a free retake after 30 days
  • $299 founding cohort ($499 after) — same price whichever route you get
  • Certificate, public verification page and directory listing
Trained, but never credentialed?

You did the 60 hours. The badge never happened. You are who this is for.

Most people who complete coach training never finish the credentialing that follows — the mentor hours, the recorded evaluations, the exam, the fees. The training was real; the paper trail stalled. Tell us your programme when you apply, take the free readiness screen (your training will show), and finish what you started at a price that is not another ₹1.5 lakh.

What we look at

Coaching aptitude is not leadership aptitude. A brilliant Strategist can make a poor coach precisely because they reach the answer first.

Non-directiveness

Resisting the pull to solve. The hardest habit to break for experienced managers, because their expertise is exactly what got them here.

Listening

Hearing what was said, what was avoided, and where tone and content disagree.

Holding discomfort

Staying steady through silence, tears and anger without rescuing anyone — including yourself.

Ethics & boundaries

Confidentiality, scope and dual relationships. The one area where a single wrong move ends a career.

Contracting

Turning a vague want into a workable agreement, and renegotiating it when the ground shifts.

Self-management

Noticing your own material in the room and setting it aside so the client is not coached about you.

Founding cohort
$299 founding cohort · then $499

Includes the programme, assessment of your practical submission, the credential, and your practitioner listing. Readiness assessment is free either way.

We check who we certify

Verified LinkedIn identity, ten years of relevant experience, a signed code of ethics, and a professional-standing declaration. Every practitioner is listed publicly so a client can check the badge is real — and we revoke it if the code is breached.

What certification usually costs

We are new, and we are priced like it. That is a deliberate choice for the founding cohort, not a permanent one.

Gallup CliftonStrengths Coach certification

The model this follows: certify coaches in your instrument, they use it forever.

$5,600–7,700
ICF Level 1 (ACC) in India

60+ live training hours plus 10 hours of mentor coaching. Months, not weeks.

₹1.1–1.8 lakh
Hogan certification

Practitioner accreditation before you can administer the instrument.

$3,000+
Certified LightningCoach Practitioner

Founding cohort $299, then $499. Readiness screen free, same price whichever route you take. Not an ICF accreditation — a credential in our methodology.

$299

Prices as published by each provider, August 2026. We are not comparing like with like — an ICF credential is a coaching qualification and ours is not. The comparison is about what it costs to add a credible instrument to your practice.

Where we actually are

Nobody has this credential yet.

We could have put five glowing quotes on this page. We have not, because there is nobody to quote — the founding cohort has not run. You would be among the first practitioners certified in this methodology, and you should price that risk into your decision.

What being early costs you

An unknown credential. No directory of peers yet. A programme running for the first time, which means some of it will be rough.

What being early gets you

$299 instead of the $499 it costs once the founding cohort closes. Direct access to the person who built the methodology. And your name at the top of the directory when there is one.

If you would rather wait until there are testimonials, that is a reasonable decision and we will still be here. The free readiness screen is worth taking either way.

What happens if the screen doesn’t go well

  • ·Nothing costs you more. The price is the same whichever route you take. A weaker result adds the foundation module at no extra charge — we are not going to bill you for being honest in a free assessment.
  • ·Nobody is turned away. The screen is diagnostic, not a gate. It tells us where to put your practical work, not whether you are allowed in.
  • ·You can retake after 30 days. Free. We ask for the gap because the point is to change something in between, not to re-guess. You keep your original breakdown either way.
  • ·Ethics is the exception. If an answer crosses a client-confidentiality or boundary line, that one is not waved through. We'll talk it through with you before you certify — that protects your future clients, and you.

We are opening a small founding cohort. Some applicants are routed through the foundation module first — if everyone sailed through, the credential would be worth nothing.
